Free Adobe Firefly Detector. Verify Firefly images.

Adobe was the first major commercial AI image generator to ship Content Credentials by default. Every Firefly image carries a signed manifest. Our detector reads it.

Firefly is the cleanest case.

Adobe ships every Firefly output with embedded Content Credentials indicating AI origin. This is by design. Adobe is a founding member of the Content Authenticity Initiative.

When the credentials are intact, the verdict is essentially instant and verifiable. When they have been stripped by social media or editing, we fall back to visual analysis.

Generative Fill and partial AI.

Photoshop Generative Fill also writes Content Credentials. Images where only a portion was AI-generated will be flagged as AI overall. The credentials cannot tell us "only the sky was inpainted." For mixed-source verification, manual inspection remains the right tool.

Frequently asked.

Does it work on Adobe Firefly images?
Yes. Firefly images carry Content Credentials by default, so the detector resolves them with high confidence when the credentials are intact.
What about Photoshop Generative Fill?
Yes. Photoshop Generative Fill writes Content Credentials to the file. The detector flags the image as AI-edited even if only a portion (like a removed background) was AI-generated.
Will it detect Firefly images after they have been re-saved?
It depends. Most re-save operations strip the Content Credentials. After that the detector falls back to visual analysis, which has high but lower accuracy on Firefly outputs.
