Frequently asked.

Is the AI image checker really free?
Yes. Anonymous use is free and there is no signup wall on the tool. Anonymous use is rate-limited per IP to keep abuse low. Sign up free for higher limits.
How accurate is it?
On images that carry their original Content Credentials, the answer is essentially certain. On stripped images, accuracy depends on the generator and how much the image has been re-encoded but is high across modern diffusion outputs.
Can it detect Midjourney v7, Flux.2, DALL·E 3, and Stable Diffusion 3.5?
Yes. Coverage is kept current with each major release. Newer models added in the last 30 days may have a small accuracy gap that we close within a week or two.
Do you store my image?
No. Images are analyzed in real time and discarded. We retain a hashed identifier for rate limiting only, never the image bytes.
What about deepfakes (face swaps)?
Face-swap deepfake detection is a different problem. This tool is for AI-generated images, meaning images generated from a text prompt or noise. Face-swap detection is on our roadmap.
