About AI Image Checker.

What we do at a high level.

We check images for two kinds of evidence. First, embedded provenance data: Content Credentials, file metadata, and other markers that many AI generators leave by default. Second, visual analysis when the first kind is missing. We combine both into a single verdict and tell you which kind decided.

What we will not do.

• Store your uploaded images. Detection runs in real time and the bytes are discarded.
• Sell or share your detection history.
• Give you a high-confidence answer when the signals are mixed. If a result is uncertain, you will see it.

Limits and caveats.

No AI image detector is perfect. Heavily edited images, screenshots of screenshots, and outputs from very recent generators can sit in a low-confidence zone. For high-stakes verification, use multiple detectors and consider the source. For everyday checks, our tool is more than sufficient.
